Natural Damar Resin Incense – 1 kg
A luminous resin with a fresh and delicate fragrance
Discover Damar incense, a natural resin appreciated for its light, fresh and subtly lemony fragrance. More delicate than some intensely scented resins, it releases a soft and airy aroma that pleasantly perfumes the home without overwhelming the atmosphere.
Its natural pieces, generally translucent and ranging from white to pale yellow, reflect the authentic character of the product. When heated, Damar resin produces a clear smoke and releases a refined resinous fragrance.
A natural resin from Asia
Damar, also known as Dammar or Dammar gum, is obtained from different tree species belonging to the Dipterocarpaceae family, mainly found in India and Southeast Asia.
The resin is collected from the trees and allowed to solidify naturally. It has long been used as incense for its fresh and luminous fragrance.
A gentle and soothing atmosphere
Damar incense is particularly suitable for:
- prayer and contemplation;
- meditation and relaxation;
- spiritual rituals;
- the symbolic purification of spaces;
- creating a calm and harmonious atmosphere;
- preparing personalised incense blends.
Its delicate fragrance can also be combined with other resins such as frankincense, myrrh, benzoin or copal.
How to use Damar incense
Place a small amount of resin on a glowing charcoal disc inside a heat-resistant incense burner. You can also use a burner designed for heating natural resins.
Start with a few small pieces and adjust the amount according to the desired fragrance intensity.
