A Colombe Bible for reading and reflection
The Colombe Bible contains the Segond translation revised in 1978, with updated vocabulary and careful attention to the source texts. Published by Bibli’O, this edition includes the Old and New Testaments without the deuterocanonical books. The book text is exclusively in French and is intended for French-speaking readers.
Helpful tools for exploring Scripture
Cross-references help you compare related passages. Concise explanatory notes provide clarification without the bulk of a full commentary. A glossary explains terms, an index supports searches, and four colour maps help locate biblical places. The ribbon bookmark makes it easy to resume your reading.
How to use and care for your Bible
Use this Bible to read a chapter each day, prepare for a group discussion or spend time in meditation. Its compact size is also convenient when travelling. The understated brown cover makes it a thoughtful gift for a French-speaking reader. Keep the book dry and away from direct sunlight. Handle the pages with clean, dry hands and avoid forcing the binding.
