Greek Jerusalem incense for prayer and worship
This Grade A Greek Jerusalem incense comes in a 1 kg format. On glowing incense charcoal, it gradually releases fragrant smoke during services, personal prayer and meditation. The generous format suits parishes, chapels, religious communities and regular users.
A setting for faith and reflection
In Christian tradition, incense accompanies liturgical gestures and prayer. The name Jerusalem may evoke faith, hope and forgiveness. Its fragrance helps mark a quiet moment for reflection. It may also accompany a blessing or symbolic cleansing of a space; these meanings are spiritual and personal.
These uses reflect tradition and personal experience. Incense does not replace ventilation, cleaning or disinfection.
How to use
- Place incense charcoal in a censer or on a stable, heat-resistant holder.
- Light the charcoal and wait until it is glowing.
- Place a small amount of incense on the charcoal.
- Add more gradually if you prefer a stronger fragrance.
