Rosin Gum is a natural resin obtained from pine trees. It is also called colophony or pine resin. It is produced by heating liquid pine resin to remove the turpentine, leaving behind a solid resin ranging from yellow to amber in color. It is burned on hot charcoal like other resins (frankincense, benzoin, copal).
